Ammar and the team took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and paid incredible attention to detail throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was that they genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with the final result and didn’t let me leave until I was truly satisfied. The hairstylists are great. Both Bassam and Ammar are good at what they do. I’ve been happy with my haircuts at this place. But I’m extremely disappointed how the management at Jet Set Salon is not transparent about their prices. Never happened with me at any salon in Dubai! I recently got my haircut done through Bassam and I was told by the receptionist Christine that the service will cost me 250 dirhams. When I eventually went to pay the bill, I was charged 100 dirhams extra for hair drying which is a part of the service at every salon. It wasn’t any fancy blow dry at all since I a got a short pixie cut, it was just simple drying of wet hair. Bare minimum service by any hairstylist. When I later confronted the team regarding this, I was told these charges are mentioned on their website. Double checked the website, no such charges are mentioned there. In fact no charges about haircut are mentioned anywhere on the website! Would appreciate if the team is not so discrete and rather more honest about their prices beforehand so the customer knows what they are in for and can make a judgement accordingly.
