The atmosphere was welcoming and energetic. ​First Impressions: The efficiency at the counter was impressive—ordering took less than a minute. The staff immediately guided us to the complimentary peanut stations, which is always a great touch to keep guests engaged while waiting. ​Standout Service: Exceptional hospitality from a lovely Filipino team member who proactively took care of the guests. Despite Five Guys being a self-service concept, she went above and beyond by serving the food directly to our table. ​🍔 Food & Portion Control ​The Order: Two burgers, one large fries, and a large soft drink. ​Value & Portions: The burger portions were highly satisfactory and lived up to expectations. The large fries and large drink are perfectly portioned to be shared comfortably between two people. When it comes to taste, Five Guys consistently wins. ​📊 Operational & Cost Insights ​As a guest, I noticed a unique operational choice regarding their packaging: ​The Tray Dilemma: Five Guys does not use traditional reusable dine-in trays; instead, food is served exclusively in brown paper bags. While this eliminates the capital expense of trays, the labor cost of washing/sanitizing them, and the risk of breakage, it significantly increases ongoing single-use packaging costs. Switching to a standard branded placemat on a reusable tray might offer a more cost-effective equilibrium for heavy dine-in volume. ​🛡️ Food Safety & Compliance Observations ​From a food safety management perspective, there are two minor areas that could be tightened up at the self-service condiment station: ​Condiment Transparency: The bulk ketchup dispenser does not indicate the brand being served. ​Traceability: There is no visible batch or expiry date on the dispenser. While ketchup is a low-risk, high-acid item, displaying a clear date label on the machine ensures full traceability and builds stronger consumer trust. ​Final Verdict: Excellent taste and standout staff hospitality. Addressing the small details at the condiment station would make this high-volume branch absolutely flawless.

Had a great experience at Five Guys Dubai Mall! The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared exactly as ordered. What made the visit even better was the excellent customer service provided by Mylene. Five Guys The Dubai Mall offers an incredible dining experience, mainly thanks to its prime location inside The Dubai Mall overlooking the iconic Dubai Fountain. Seating options are great, with both indoor and outdoor areas, perfect for enjoying the view, especially in the evening when the fountains are on. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it a great spot to take a break during shopping. As expected from Five Guys, the food quality is consistently good, fresh, tasty, and satisfying every time. Highly recommended for both the food and the unbeatable view.
