Designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates, MoN Takanawa in Tokyo uses sweeping, layered forms rather than the conventional rectangular shape of a museum. Curving terraces, horizontal bands and planting give the building a landscape-like appearance. Its architecture earned a nomination in the 2026 Prix Versailles selection of beautiful museums.
