Hello, I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent treatment at Guerlain Spa. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the overall experience. My treatment was supposed to include both a body scrub and a body wrap, but the body wrap was not provided at all. Before the treatment, I specifically requested a scrub with a beautiful oriental/oud-type fragrance, as I was expecting something luxurious and pleasant. However, the scrub that was used had a smell that I found very unpleasant and was completely different from what I had requested. Regarding the massage, I understood that I had the choice of focusing on the head, back, or shoulders. However, the therapist did not ask me which area I preferred and simply performed approximately 20 minutes of massage on my back. Overall, I did not enjoy the service, and I do not feel that the quality of the treatment matched the price I paid. Considering the reputation and standard I expected from Guerlain Spa, I was expecting a much more luxurious, attentive, and personalized experience. I would appreciate it if you could review what happened, particularly why the body wrap that was included in my treatment was not provided, and let me know how you can resolve this matter. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Guerlain Spa was honestly one of the worst spa experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, the entire experience felt uncomfortable, unhygienic, and completely below the standard you would expect from a luxury spa. First, several staff members had very noticeable body odor, which is unacceptable in a wellness and relaxation environment where cleanliness and comfort are supposed to be a priority. Second, the presence of male staff completely ruined the atmosphere and level of comfort for me. This should be made much clearer beforehand, especially in a spa environment where many guests expect privacy and relaxation. What shocked me most was that my therapist instructed me to change in the common changing room, even though the treatment room itself had a private dressing area. It felt unnecessary, awkward, and unprofessional. The treatment room itself had mosquitoes flying around during the session. Trying to relax while getting bitten and constantly distracted was impossible. To make matters worse, the showers were visibly dirty from previous usage and clearly had not been cleaned properly. On top of that, there wasn’t even basic shower amenities available — no shower gel, no shampoo, and no conditioner. For a spa that markets itself as luxurious, this experience was beyond disappointing. It felt poorly maintained, unhygienic, and extremely unprofessional from start to finish. I left feeling stressed instead of relaxed.

To truly meet Dubai’s luxury hospitality standards, I believe more attention should be given to cleanliness and service quality. The potential is there, but greater consistency and attention to detail would make a noticeable difference
