BEST OF editorial
Co-founder Gail Clough started the company in 1996, and the brand has operated for 30 years. It flies in professional comedians from the UK, USA, Ireland, and Australia. The September tour features Kelsey De Almeida and Aideen McQueen. This is a proper night out, not a casual open mic. The venue changes by tour, which keeps the experience fresh. You might find yourself at Jumeirah Golf Estates or Studio One Hotel on consecutive nights.
This pick suits first-time visitors who want a reliable, high-quality bill without hunting for a specific club. It is the easiest recommendation when you want a structured evening. One thing to know before booking is the venue rotation. You must check the specific location for your date. Shows usually start at 8 PM or 8:30 PM. The format is intimate, with comedians performing in smaller rooms rather than large arenas. This creates a closer connection between the performers and the audience. It is a distinct step up from free weekly nights.

While other picks anchor to a single venue, this group rotates between Al Seef, DSO, TECOM and Madinat. The schedule spans weekly nights, open mics and specials, giving you more options than waiting for one major touring show. Their Joke Hub sits in the first purpose-built comedy room in the country, a distinct space from the bars hosting the other acts here.
This suits people who want variety in format and location over a fixed weekly ritual. Check the live listing before you go, as prices and booking methods change by show. The Comedy Lab Open Mic costs AED 99 and includes a drink and popcorn. The Politically Incorrect Comedy show at Xandros costs AED 80, paid at the door.

Founded in 2008 by Mina Liccione and Ali Al Sayed, the group built a grassroots community before the ticketed clubs arrived. Ali Al Sayed, the artistic director, also co-hosts Comedy Central Presents on OSN. This Sunday night at Hushh in Social Distrikt focuses on local talent rather than touring international acts. It offers a different energy from the dedicated club feel of Pepperoni or the all-round bills at The Laughter Factory.
This suits anyone who wants to support local comedy without spending money. It is also a good entry point for those curious about the craft. You must RSVP to attend, as the show is free but capacity is managed. The doors open at 7:00 pm on Sundays. If you prefer a polished, ticketed production with a specific headliner, look at the other options here.

What's On Dubai describes the back room as channeling the intimate, basement-style venues of New York. Rows of chairs face a compact stage, with booth seating hugging the sides. This layout creates a show-first atmosphere that differs from the larger, mixed-use spaces of the other four picks. The venue operates as a hybrid diner and comedy club, a concept developed in collaboration with radio personality Kris Fade. You can eat while you watch, with the kitchen serving items like the classic pepperoni pizza for Dhs105.
The food is a genuine part of the evening, not just a pre-show add-on. It suits adults who want a consistent, club-style comedy night rather than a one-off festival event. The room is strictly 21+, so it is not a family option. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the show starts at 9:00 PM. Check the current ticket page for show-specific prices, as they vary by programme. If you prefer a free entry point, look at Dubomedy instead. If you want a larger, international lineup, The Laughter Factory is the better fit. Pepperoni is the choice for a focused, local talent showcase in a dedicated space.

BEST OF editorial
From 9 to 18 October 2026, the festival takes over Dubai Opera, New Covent Garden Theatre, and Pepperoni Comedy Club. Gulf News notes it is usually very worth the wait. It offers 50+ comedians across 40+ shows in multiple languages. That is far more choice than the weekly clubs on this list. Ahmed Ahmed headlines a one-night show on 9 October. Tickets for that show start from Dh125.
The festival also includes fringe shows, concerts, and community events. It is the only option here that spans 10 days and 3 venues. Choose this if you want a full week of comedy plans. It suits people who want big names and variety in one period. Note that images and video of attendees may be used for promotion. The festival is the 7th edition of the event. It is not a regular weekly slot, so you must book specific dates.
