I visited 3Fils the other day and had a great solo meal. The burger was delicious, and the Hamachi carpaccio was fresh and beautifully prepared. Everything was excellent from start to finish. Five stars.

Simply and seriously one of the best restaurants you’ll ever eat at. It’s a must try and even the waiting time for a table (as they don’t take bookings) is absolutely worth it. Don’t expect any fancy location or ambience. What matters is the outstanding food experience you’ll forever rave about. We always end up ordering more than half of the menu because the flavors and quality are exceptional. Personal highlights are the seaweed salad, the bluefin tuna dishes such as the otoro nigiri (especially with foie gras or caviar), the beef carpaccio, the wagyu tortilla kebab, the spicy beef tartare, indomie, and the karak ice cream.

My wife and I visited 3 Fils in Abu Dhabi for dinner and came away impressed. Located in Al Bateen Marina, and mentioned in the Michelin guide, the atmosphere is relaxed but lively, with the open kitchen adding energy without feeling overwhelming. We ordered a good selection of dishes and the bill came to around AED 750 for two, including drinks, which felt reasonable considering the quality of the food. The standout dishes were definitely the Wagyu Sando, which completely lived up to the hype with incredibly tender beef and perfectly crisp bread, the Dragon sushi roll, which was fresh, well-balanced and tasty, and the Spicy Beef Tartare, which was beautifully seasoned and one of the best I’ve had. Other dishes including the Gyu Toast, Wagyu Burger, Ebi Kushiyaki, Hokkaido Scallops with Mandarin and Wagyu Tortilla Kebab were all very enjoyable, with each plate arriving beautifully presented. The drinks were refreshing and complemented the meal well. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening, and despite being busy, everything flowed smoothly. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience and one of the best Japanese-inspired meals we’ve had in Abu Dhabi. We’d happily return to explore more of the menu.
