Mimi Kakushi is one of those rare restaurants that completely lives up to its reputation. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere transports you to 1920s Osaka with stunning interiors, warm lighting, and impeccable attention to detail. During my visit, every dish was beautifully presented and executed with precision. The sushi rolls were fresh and balanced, the black cod was exceptional—perfectly cooked, buttery, and packed with flavor. The short ribs were incredibly tender and rich, easily one of the highlights of the evening. Other standout dishes included the beef bone marrow topped with finely chopped beef tartare, delicious grilled skewers, and a beautifully composed crab salad. Even the smaller dishes and sides demonstrated the level of craftsmanship you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Every recommendation was spot on, and the pacing of the meal was excellent. Mimi Kakushi fully deserves its Michelin star and remains one of the finest Japanese dining experiences in Dubai. Definitely coming back! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was top-notch, every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional, everyone was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. The interiors are absolutely stunning and the atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable. Mimi Kakushi truly delivers on every level. One of the best lunch experiences I’ve had in Dubai. Highly recommended! ✨🍣🥢

The restaurant's setting is very pleasant. Beautiful, tasteful decor. Romantic atmosphere. The dining room is dimly lit. The staff is very attentive, and the service is discreet and impeccable. Finally, regarding the food, it's certainly one of the best restaurants in Dubai. The cuisine is creative, the flavors sophisticated. The cod is cooked to perfection, tender and succulent. The Wagyu beef melts in your mouth, and the sauces are exceptional. As for the desserts, the pineapple cheesecake is incredibly refreshing with a crisp shortbread base. A must-try! Don’t go for Dubai week…portions were ridiculous.
