What an amazing experience we have had yet again! We have now visited three times in the last six months, which really says everything about how much we love this place — and we’re already looking forward to returning again in October! From the moment we arrive, we always feel so welcomed and looked after. A special mention has to go to our wonderful host, Elena, who has been absolutely brilliant. She is so friendly, attentive and accommodating, always going above and beyond to help with any of our requests and making sure our stays are as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The Kids Club has also been fantastic. The whole team are amazing, but a special shout-out to Mena, who has been absolutely wonderful with the children. It’s so reassuring to know they are having fun, being well looked after and genuinely enjoying themselves. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. The fact that we keep coming back — and have already booked our next visit — says it all! ❤️ Thank you to Elena, Mena and the entire team for making each visit so special. We can’t wait to be back in October! ✈️☀️❤️

After staying at the Jumeirah Beach hotel for the past 30yrs we decided this year to try somewhere different for my wife’s 60th along with family. I wish now I had read the reviews before booking as this was a terrible experience. We originally booked for the ‘Palace’ but due to refurb work we got put in the ‘Arabian Court’ supposedly with the same drinks and half board package. This turned out to be rubbish as drinks were limited to about 6 specified ones and only access to 2 restaurants. The hotel and rooms were clean and spacious, however, on a local weekend the pool area was extremely busy with locals paying to get in for the day and were treated a lot better than those staying for a holiday. More worrying, and relating to previous reviews where this has happened before, on arrival we was instructed to leave a security deposit of £1,500. For the last 30yrs of visiting Dubai this deposit is not taken from a card just deposited and then returned within days. On this occasion the amount was deducted immediately from the card and taken out of my bank account. When asked why, the hotel didn’t give me a straight answer. On departure the outstanding balance was minimal so I settled the bill using another card and asked the deposit that had been taken to be put back into my account immediately. The staff assured me this had been done. I have now been home 2 weeks and nothing has landed in my bank. E mails and calls have resulted in it could take 15 days yet still nothing, and looking at similar reviews I am not expecting anything. I know this should not take 15 days. I am now trying to get this back through my bank with a complaint but would like to make people aware that reviews demonstrate this is not a one off occurrence with this hotel. I will also never use this hotel again with much better ones available throughout Dubai, terrible experience, terrible customer service, absolute disgrace.

I stayed at One&Only The Palm for one night, and it was truly magical. The staff were exceptionally excellent — helpful, kind, and attentive throughout the stay. What struck me most was the quietness and peacefulness of the property; it felt like a world away from the city. Location: The hotel sits at the very edge of the Palm, which makes it a bit farther out than other properties on the island. It didn’t bother us at all — if anything, the extra distance added to the sense of seclusion and privacy. Rooms: Our room was extremely spacious and comfortable, with a lovely, relaxing feel throughout. The only downside was the service response time — it took a while to get requested items, which felt a little out of step with the overall luxury experience. I actually loved the pools even more than the beach, and the adult-only pool was a real highlight — perfectly calm and relaxing. Cleanliness: The property was immaculately kept, with every corner of the resort feeling well-maintained and pristine. Value: It’s on the pricier side, as expected for a resort of this caliber, but the setting, privacy, and overall experience make it a worthwhile splurge for a special one-night escape. If you’re looking to escape the noise of everyday life, even just for a day, this is the place. Highly recommend.
