Our editors, local contributors and members. Guides and rankings are credited to the person or team behind them. Member posts are written by members and labelled as theirs.

We feature what's genuinely good: places and things our members love, that we can check, and that are worth your time.

Businesses can't pay to change what we say about them. We don't accept gifts in return for coverage. When we visit as guests, we say so.

Business profiles separate facts we've checked, such as address and opening hours, from what members say. Each checked fact shows where it came from.

AI helps us, people decide. It makes us faster and more accurate, never less careful.

• What AI does. Our own AI tools gather facts from businesses' own pages, draft and translate our pages, and spot deals that have ended.
• What people do. We set the rules, test codes on our top stores, read our top pages before they're published, and answer to you.
• What AI never does. It never invents a fact, sets a ranking, or decides that a code works.
• Ask a person. Use “Report a problem” on any page and a person will look at it.
