Emergency contacts to save before you need them
A fast, verified Dubai reference for police, ambulance, fire, marine rescue, utility failures and the non-emergency services that should not tie up an urgent line.
⚠️ Is there immediate danger?
For an urgent police, medical or fire emergency, call the relevant number now. Do not use this page as a substitute for emergency services.
Save these first
The three numbers most people need
These are the core UAE emergency numbers. They are intended for urgent situations, not general enquiries.
Beyond police, ambulance & fire
Other emergency numbers worth saving
These are official Dubai/UAE routes for specific urgent situations. Use the correct service rather than guessing.
Specialist emergency lines
For an emergency at sea or on the water.
For official Find and Rescue assistance.
DEWA’s 24/7 emergency/technical-notification number.
For non-urgent enquiries, information and community services.
Keep this simple
What to say when you call
In an emergency, give the operator the clearest facts you can. Do not delay an urgent call trying to gather every detail.
Say exactly where you are
Give the building, street or area, then a nearby landmark, floor, apartment, shop or beach access point if you know it.
Say what happened
Use short facts: fire, collision, injury, medical emergency, threat, stranded boat, power issue or another immediate hazard.
Say how many people need help
Flag injuries, smoke, water hazards, children or any risk that changes the urgency. Follow the operator’s instructions.
📍 Helpful Dubai location details
For a mall, hotel or beach, say the exact venue plus the entrance, parking zone, floor or landmark. If it is safe, ask a colleague, security guard or family member to meet the responding team at the clearest access point.
Use the right line
When it is urgent to you — but not a 999 emergency
These official lines can be more appropriate for non-immediate issues, general assistance or specialist support. If a situation becomes dangerous, use the core emergency number instead.
901
Dubai Police non-emergency
Non-urgent police enquiries, general information and community services.
Call 901 →800 90 90
RTA customer support
Transport, roads, taxi, driving, parking and RTA service enquiries — not an emergency-response line.
Call RTA →800 342
Dubai Health Authority
24/7 health authority contact and general service support. For a medical emergency, call 998.
Call 800 DHA →800 900
Dubai Municipality
Municipal helpline. For an immediate fire, safety or medical danger, use the relevant emergency number first.
Call 800 900 →Children, People of Determination & seniors protection: 800 988
Dubai’s official emergency-numbers page lists 800 988 as the Children/People of Determination/Seniors protection hotline.
Report a security incident: Al Ameen 800 4444
Dubai’s official list identifies 800 4444 for reporting a security incident via Al Ameen.
Workplace incidents: 600 590 000 · Consumer Rights: 600 545 555
Dubai’s official emergency-numbers page lists 600 590 000 for workplace incidents and 600 545 555 for consumer rights. These do not replace 999, 998 or 997 where immediate danger is involved.
A useful backup, not a delay
SOS apps and precise location
Dubai’s official emergency page says the DCAS SOS feature can identify a patient’s exact location and is available through the DCAS app and Dubai Police app. In a serious emergency, prioritise the fastest route to help.
Use official apps only
Download or open official Dubai Police or DCAS emergency tools only from official app-store listings or the linked government information below. Do not rely on screenshots, forwarded messages or unofficial number lists.
